Back on the fell at last  - this time above menwith hill to rocking hall, bolton abbey and home via chalker

Going to update the site as soon as I have integrated GPS and photo blogging form the ole bberry - then we’ll have pics of the fells and dynamic route generation yippeee, for now it’s back to the day job (24 hour day job) online marketing at Search Logic plc

It’s been a sad year so far - too much marathon training and not enough fell running over the moors. The closest I get is a new route over to silsden on the road followed by canal towpath to Riddlesden and over the Keighey Old Road. Works out to 15.5 miles of hilly road training with 1000ft of ascent to Keighley Gate, and 1300ft in total, dropping down Heber’s Ghyll in to Ilkley and back along the river to the village.

4 miles round the village with dog, now need to getg own dog for training partner …

Almost back on track, entered the baildon Boundary half in the new year  - always fancied it - bit can never get in … so fingers crossed. Is a few weeks before the annual Leeds challenge ..

4.5 miles fast around Lancaster after a few weeks off with illness and injury, shins and shoes

6.5 miles with plenty of ascent (1oooft)  from the Cow and Calf via 12 apostles, White wells, celtic cup and ring stone at top of hebers ghyll,  addingham moor side, black hill.
